Ibb Launches a Distress Call to Humanitarian and International Organizations

Governor of Ibb, Mr. Abdul Wahid Salah called on humanitarian and international organizations to fund and keep the renal dialysis center on duty in Al-Thawra Hospital and the hope unit to treat cancer in the aforementioned governorate, with solutions and medicines to save patients with renal failure and cancer.
Salah appealed to organizations working in the humanitarian field at the forefront the United Nations organizations to quickly intervene to support the dialysis center with the requirements, as well as to support the unit of hope in cancer drugs so that they can continue to provide their humanitarian services to patients.
As the total number of cases in the renal dialysis center rises, which need to to undergo dialysis of more than nine thousand and 505 cases, while the number of cases in the Hope Unit for the treatment of cancer and reluctant to two thousand and 636 cases, mostly from the poorest families.
The US-Saudi coalition on Yemen has devastated basic services, prompting the UN to describe the situation in Yemen as one of “the world’s worst humanitarian disasters in modern times.”
