The United Arab Emirates (UAE) admitted on Thursday the death of one of its soldiers in Yemen at the hands of the Yemeni Army and Ansarullah without specifying the whereabouts and circumstances of the death.
The news agency quoted the General Command of the Armed Forces that the first soldier Abdullah al-Husayni was killed during his mission in the operations of the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia, without specifying the circumstances or place of his death.
Meanwhile, the Yemeni missile force had targeted at dawn on Thursday, using a ballistic missile type “Badr 1” on Anad military base in the province of Lahj, south of the country, which is where soldiers from the UAE occupation forces are stationed.
The United Arab Emirates earlier announced the death of a number of its soldiers, including Sergeant Ali Khalifa Al-Mesmari, the first sergeant and Abdullah Mohammed Ahmed Dahmani.
The UAE deliberately announces the killing of an Emirati soldier from time to time to reduce the size of its losses and its number of deaths in Yemen, which reached in one of the operations conducted by the Yemeni Army and Ansarullah more than fifty dead in “Safr Missile Operation.”
