Interior Minister inspecting the security situation in Hodeida

Interior Minister Maj. Gen. Abdulhakeem Al-Maori inspected the security situation in Hodeidah province.

During the visit, the Minister of Interior reviewed the level of performance of the security services in the province and the level of vigilance and readiness of the members of the security services in Hodeida.

A meeting of the security committee in the governorate was held under the chairmanship of the interior minister, including the governor of Hodeida Hassan Ahmed al-Heij, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for the security sector, Major General Rizq al-Jawfi and others.

At the meeting, the Minister of Interior conveyed the greetings of the political leadership of the Sana’a-based government to the president and members of the security committee in the governorate on the 28th National Day of the Republic of Yemen and through them to all the people of the province of Hodeida.

“The government and the people look with pride at the roles of the people of Hodeida who stand alongside the heroes of the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees who are fighting the inevitable battle of victory against the forces of aggression and its mercenaries,” he said.

Major General Maori pointed out that this visit comes with the aim of reviewing the level of security performance and knowledge of the needs required by the security services in the governorate, and to know the difficulties they face and ways to overcome them in order to achieve the best level of security performance.

He pointed out that the circumstance that passes through the country requires everyone to intensify efforts and raise readiness and vigilance to meet the challenges imposed by the Saudi-led war .. Stressing the importance of coordination between the security services, the local authority and dignitaries of the province.

The Minister of Interior praised the achievements of the security services in the province for it has been successful in controlling the crime rate and thwarting foreign schemes aimed at destabilizing the security and stability of the province.
