18 million riyals taken in Aden

Soldiers of the so-called 83rd Infantry Brigade surrounded a finance officer in Aden and robbed  18 million Riyals, while one of the recruits was assassinated in Aden.

According to media sources close to the coalition that the soldiers besieged, on Saturday evening, a financial delegate of the 83rd Brigade, named Ahmed Shaan in the Badr camp and robbed him 18 million riyals saying the money is their salaries.

Unidentified gunmen assassinated the bodyguard of the paid fighter, Abu Hamam al-Yafi’i, at dawn on Sunday in Mansoura and was then transferred to a nearby hospital but died of his wounds.

Aden city, which was occupied by UK but now under the control of UAE, and the rest of the southern cities witnessed an insecurity situation that increased the assassinations of imams of mosques and security and military leaderships

The province of Aden witnesses a security fiasco that escalated with killings, looting issues , in addition to others that never happened before.

The UAE took control of Aden under the pretext of confronting the so –called “Houthis” Yemeni army and supported the establishment and formation of armed militias there.

A few months ago, Emirati-backed forces were fighting and killing Saudi-backed forces in Aden. The south is moving towards outright autonomy .The entrenchment of a war economy is another significant obstacle to peace.

The Yemeni government has been suffering for nearly a year in a crisis to pay the salaries of 67,000 employees.
