An official at the Foreign Ministry welcomed Malaysia’s recent decision to withdraw from the war conducted by the Saudi-led coalition on Yemen, thereafter its military forces shall no longer be present in Saudi Arabia to provide support.
The official said in a statement that this decision, which was declared by Malaysian Defense Minister Mohammad Sabo, reflects the wisdom of the new Malaysian political leadership, its willingness to maintain its relations with the Islamic world and the relations between the two countries of Yemen and Malaysia.
The official called on the rest of the countries taking part in the coalition to reconsider their policy and terminaite their participation in the war against Yemen.
The official also affirmed that the Yemeni people will remain steadfast to confront the forces of the US-backed coalition and repel whatever schemes aiming for its subjugation.
