Health Ministry condemns Saudi bombing of school in Hodeidah

The Ministry of Public Health and Population denounced the airstrikes conducted by the US-backed Saudi-led coalition that targeted a school in Zabid district of Hodeidah province, killing three citizens and wounding four others, including a child, a local source told YemenExtra on Monday.

The ministry said the silence of the international community toward the US-backed Saudi humanitarian violations for about 39 months stimulates the coalition to commit even more crimes against the Yemeni people.

The statement reiterated calling on the United Nations and its affiliated bodies to bear their responsibilities in front of the brutality they are observing being perpetrated against the people of Yemen.
