Official: Wedding Attack is a Message Confirmed How Coalition Support Peace Efforts

An official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the brutal crime committed by the US-Saudi coalition at a wedding ceremony in Sa’adah province in the presence of the UN envoy in Yemen. Considering  it as a message that the coalition of does not support the peace efforts.

The official said in a statement to the official ”Saba News Agency” that the countries of coalition hamper the peace efforts of the Special Envoy of the United Nations to Yemen, Martin Griffith.

“There is no region in Yemen where coalition’s countries have not committed a crime against humanity. There is no doubt that the main objective of the coalition is to kill the Yemeni people, to destroy their economic capabilities and all the elements of life,” he added.

The official stressed that the Yemeni people stand steadfastly behind the Higher Political Council and the Government of National Salvation in the face of coalition, while supporting peace efforts aimed at bloodshed and an end to the coalition, preserving security, stability and dignity of Yemen and its people.
