Yemeni Naval forces targets the coalition’s forces in Mukha

The Yemeni Naval forces waged ,today night ,an offensive on the US-Saudi-led coalition in Yemen’s Taiz province, a military official told YemenExtra.

The naval attack targeted the coalition ’s concentrations in the port city of Mukha in the western coast from the sea side accurately , burning its military gear, supplies stores, and the operation rooms, in addition to killing and wounding a number of the coalition

The official added that dozens of the militias were killed and injured in the attack.

An official in the Yemeni army forces confirmed the continuation of military operations inside Saudi Arabia until the US-Saudi -led coalition against the Yemeni people stops.

Despite the coalition’s claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters, Saudi bombers are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures.

The US-Saudi-led coalition launched an offensive on Hudaydah on 12 June in the largest battle of the war that the United Nations fears risks triggering a famine in Yemen where an estimated 8.4 million people are on the verge of starvation. Recently, It has been paused for peace talks, but no deal has been struck leaving Yemenis pessimistic over a viable political process.

Abdulmalik al-Houthi, the leader of the Houthi(Ansarallah)  movement, which is the main force that faces the coallition, said on a TV speech ,” The decision of invading the Yemeni ,western coast, has been taken and adopted by the United States of America,noting that the Saudis are trying to abolish Yemen’s freedom,” stressing that it was the people of Yemen’s right to defend their country.

The coalition continues to accuse the Houthis , part of the Yemeni army forces, of using Hodeidah to smuggle weapons from Iran despite its warships monitoring the Bab El Mandeb Strait. There has been no evidence to suggest that the Houthis are receiving arms via the port according to UN experts on Yemen.

Political experts believe that after Saudi Arabia and its regional and international allies failed to conquer Yemen’s Hudaydah port through military force, they are currently turning to diplomatic means in order to reach a settlement with the Houthi Ansarullah fighters, part of the Yemeni army forces,thus attesting to ability of the country’s popular forces to head off the campaign against the Yemeni people.
