Watch : the US backed Saudi-led coalition warplanes hit bus, loaded with childern, leaving over 130 civilians dead , wounded

Scores of civilians have lost their lives and dozens more sustained injuries as US backed -Saudi-led coalition warplanes targeted a bus carrying children in Yemen’s northwestern province of Saada amid internal and external anger.

The bus came under an offensive at a market in the Sa’ada town of Dhahyan ,on Thursday, a local official reported.

In the same context, Yemeni Health Minister, Dr. Taha al-Mutawakil, announced late that the death toll of the coalition airstrikes on the student buses in Saada rose to 47, in addition to 77 injured, and deaths are still increasing, adding that over 3000 childern lost their lives since the beginning of the coalition’s campaign.

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) said that 29 bodies and 48 wounded, all children under 15 years, arrived to several Yemeni hospitals following the Saudi-led coalition raids on buses carrying students in Dhahyan district of Saada province.

In a defiant statement, the coalition called the carnage a “legitimate action,” claiming the fatal air raids were aimed at missile launchers used by Yemeni forces to target the Jizan industrial city in southern Saudi Arabia, a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said.

A member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Chris Murphy stated that  I call for an end to the war on Yemen “immediately”.

He said that the bombs that hit Yemen are US bombs ,and setting targets is by America and air support for the coalition from Washington and now school bus ,carrying children, was hit, adding  The US-Saudi bombing campaign has become more reckless, killing more civilians

The official spokesman of Ansarallah, Muhammad Abdul Salam described the justifications of the coalition, witch justify today’s crime, as a clear fall of moral and absurd. The coalition claimed to have been “targeting rocket launchers.”

Abdul Salam said in a tweet, “Justifications of the spokesman of the US-Saudi aggression for ITS crimes are clear disregard for the lives of civilians. The stike targeted a school bus in the center of the city of Dahyan and between shoppers and pedestrians on the highway in Saada.”

Doctors without Limits expressed its deep sorrow over the air strike that hit a school bus ,sayingchildern mustn’t pay the price of a war waged by adults and civilians are not targets.

Oxfam , furthermore, denounced the air strike that killed dozens of children in Sa’ada , saying it is unacceptable and too much.

High Commissioner for Human Rights , for his part, sharply denounced the crime in Saada , stating that The raids on a student bus in Saada are terryfing.

The local authority and executive offices in Jawf province condemned in a statement obtained by YemenExtra the crime against children in a market of Dhahyan , saying that this crime reflect the inhumanity of the coalition forces.

The National Salvation Government condemned in the strongest terms the horrific massacre committed by the coalition warplanes against children’s bus .“The aggression coalition waged deliberate raids against civilians, targeting children and women in particular, in a blatant defiance of all international conventions,” the government’s official spokesman and Information Minister, Abdulsalam Jaber.

The Human rights ministry called the UN security council to stop the daily crimes committed by the coalition in Yemen,calling to form an independent committee to investigate these crimes.

The local authority in Lahj province condemned brutal attack of the coalition warplanes on students’ bus in Dahyan district , considering what happened in Dhahyan a war crime against humanity.

Education ministry and National Authority to Management and coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and Crisis facing held  evening a press conference.In the conference, the ministry and authority urged, in a statement obtained by YemenExtra, the international organizations to expose the coalition war crimes against the Yemeni people.

The block of Yemeni parties, that rejects the coalition’s crimes, considered the silence of the international community toward the continue crimes committed by the coalition in Yemen as a clear complicity in crime of genocide against the Yemeni people.

The Lebanese party of Hezbollah condemned in a statement the crime committed this morning by the coalition warplanes, Al-Mayadeen channel stated on Thursday.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry condemned the attack carried out by the coalition aircraft against children bus in Dhahyan district of Saada province.In a statement on Thursday, Foreign Ministry spokesman, Bahram Qassemi, expressed sympathy with the families of those killed and injured in the latest airstrike.

The coalition jets also launched 14 airstrikes on Hajjah province over last hours.The 14 raids targeted Haradh and Medi districts.

They , in addition, waged 11 raids on the capital Sanaa.Two airstrikes hit the Public Works Department in Shaoub District, followed by two others raids on the same area. Five raids targeted al-Sabeen district, while two others hit the September 21 Park in Ma’een district.

At least two civilians were killed and one child was injured as the  coalition warplanes launched several air strikes on Yemen’s Red Sea Port City of Hodeidah.The air strikes hit their farm in Shatheliah area in Zabid district, causing human and material casualties.

In March 2015, the coalition started  a war against Yemen with the declared aim of crushing the Houthi Ansarullah movement, part of Yemeni army forces,who had taken over from the staunch Riyadh ally and fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, while also seeking to secure the Saudi border with its southern neighbor. Three years and over 600,000 dead and injured Yemeni people and  prevented the patients from travelling abroad for treatment and blocked the entry of medicine into the war-torn country, the war has yielded little to that effect.
