Yemeni army force have fired a domestically-designed and -developed ballistic missile at a strategic economic target in Saudi Arabia’s southwestern border region of Jizan in retaliation for the US backed -Saudi-led coalition regime’s devastating military campaign against their country.

A Yemeni military source, speaking on condition of anonymity, told YemenExtra that the short-range Badr-1 missile struck the Economic City in #Jizan, hitting its target accurately.

The air force has announced recently that it targeted groups of the coalition with several air raids in Al-Jawf province, using Qasif  sircraft , hitting  its target with high accuracy.

It is noteworthy that the air force has intensified during the past few days its operations targeting the coalition’s forces along the West Coast Front, causing heavy losses in lives and equipment.

On Friday, the missile force hit Aramco in Jizan with a ballistic missile, Badr1, causing material losses.

Moreover, it targeted, last Thursday, Jizan Airport with two ballistic missiles, Badr1.

Earlier on Friday, Yemeni army forces attacked a command center of Emirati military forces in the country’s western coastal province of Hodeidah, using a domestically-built long-endurance unmanned aerial vehicle.

In addition on Friday, an Apache military helicopter belonging to the coalition was fallen in the eastern of Mahrah governorate, whereas  two pilots on board were killed.

The spokesman of the coalition announced the crash of an Apache military helicopter, descriping it as a technical issue.

On the other hand, at least 15 people have, today, lost their lives in fresh air raids conducted by the coalition warplanes on a strategic road linking the Yemeni port city of Hodeidah to the capital, Sana’a.

They with the paid fighters also ,today targeted a World Food Program (WFP) warehouse near the Red Sea silos in Kilo-16 with several mortars. The head of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee, Mohamed Ali al-Houthi, warned earlier of the coalition’s intention to target the warehouses of international relief organizations and mills in Hodeidah with the excuse that these are barracks and weapons storage.

The head of the national delegation, Mohamed AbdulSalam, said on Friday that “the United Nations is unable to do anything because of the US cover that supports the continuation of the US-Saudi aggression and siege on Yemen. Washington considers the war on Yemen a commercial commodity to make money and to pass the deal of the century.”

In March 2015, the US backed –Saudi-led coalition started  a war against Yemen with the declared aim of crushing the Houthi Ansarullah movement, who had taken over from the staunch Riyadh ally and fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, while also seeking to secure the Saudi border with its southern neighbor. Three years and over 600,000 dead and injured Yemeni people and  prevented the patients from travelling abroad for treatment and blocked the entry of medicine into the war-torn country, the war has yielded little to that effect.

Despite the coalition claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters, Saudi bombers are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures.

A UN panel has compiled a detailed report of civilian casualties caused by the Saudi military and its allies during their war against Yemen, saying the Riyadh-led coalition has used precision-guided munitions in its raids on civilian targets.

Sayyad Abdulmalik AL-Houthi claimed on one of his speech that Saudi Arabia is just a tool used by USA and Israel to fight Yemen to conquer it and wrestle control over Red Sea and Bab-AL-Mandab which will enable them to rule the world.

According to several reports, the coalition air campaign against Yemen has driven the impoverished country towards humanitarian disaster, as the coalitiondeadly campaign prevented the patients from travelling abroad for treatment and blocked the entry of medicine into the war-torn country.
