Head of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi has launched a stinging attack on President al-Bashir following the announcement of Sudan intention to send more troops to Yemen.
“Sudan’s intention to send more soldiers to Yemen came during a meeting with the Saudi army because the criminal regime of al-Bashir only understands dealing with its likes,” said Mohamed Ali al-Houthi on Twitter on Wednesday.
He considered the declaration as “an additional affirmation of the refusal of the aggression countries to peace and their obstruction of international peace efforts.”
Al-Houthi expressed his astonishment at the fact that “the Sudanese regime, incapable of defending the legitimacy of President al-Bashir, who is wanted internationally for his terrorism and committing crimes, is fighting in Yemen to defend the decisions of international legitimacy from which he escaped.”
“The Sudanese president did not create throughout his reign without war and crimes,” he said, “al-Bashir should not sell the sons of Sudan for the sake of money, because the Sudanese people are looking for a solution to their hunger, oil crisis and continue their struggle with marches that reject the misery and suffering.”
He concluded by saying, “it is worthy that the Bashir regime is to allow the practice of democracy for change because Sudan is capable of making it.”
