On Monday, the spokesman of the Yemeni army, Brigadier general Yahya Saree, held a press conference in the Yemeni capital of Sana’a, in which he revealed the violations committed by the Saudi-led aggression, its mercenaries on ground in the province of Hodeidah. Additionally, the statistics of the operations taken by the Saudi-led coalition on Yemen. On the second hand, the number of the defensive retaliated operations accomplished by the Yemeni army in support of volunteers by the popular committees during the year 2018.
The Violations of the agreement regarding the cease-fire in Hodeidah Yemeni province
The senior official stated that the violations undertaken by the Saudi-led aggression in the province of Hodeidah amounted to 801 violations till Sunday’s midnight, which included the targeting of the different areas in the province by more than 52 rockets, and five Cornet missiles, 19 Katyusha rockets, and 28 directed rockets.
Since the inception of the ceasefire agreement, more than 451 missiles have been fired, including 223 artillery shells, one RPG shell, 227 mortar shells and 116 medium and light weapons fired at different times.
Twenty-nine operations, 74 reinforcements, 3 infiltrations and one offensive operation were recorded and monitored, while 75 hoverings of the coalition jets were also recorded after they entered the aerial space of the coastal province, according to the information given by general Saree during the conference.
The spokesman of the armed forces stressed that the daily violations of the Saudi-led coalition shown the lack of seriousness in the commitment to the cease-fire agreement, noting that there are parties that do not want the war to stop and want to thwart the Hodeidah agreement by any means.
The army spokesman emphasized the commitment of the army and the committees in implementing what has been reached as a prelude to reaching a comprehensive and honorable peace.
During the conference, general Saree pointed out that the people who are benefited by this Saudi-led aggression are in the forefront of those who attempt to thwart the cease-fire agreement so as not to stop the vast amount of money they gain as a livelihood at the expense of their people.
He then expressed the cease-fire agreement as a place to test everyone in order to know who seeks in lifting the suffering of the Yemeni people, and who wants the suffering to continue by thwarting the Hodeidah agreement and implementing the plans of the aggressive Saudi-led coalition.

Bridgier general Yahya Saree said that their country was subjected to more than 52 thousand, two hundred and 49 attacks that varied from aerial attacks, ground missile, and artillery shelling, as well as naval shelling.
He pointed out that 15 thousand and three hundred and 53 air strikes were conducted on the country, which targeted different areas of Yemen, that is an average of 50 raids per day, including 244 cluster raids, 74 armed UVA air raids, and 11 sound bombs, 17 photoflash explosive ordnances and 12 smoke bombs.
Moreover, 494 rocket attacks from the naval battleships affiliated with the Saudi-led coalition on the coast of Yemen, 36,400,030 artillery and missile attacks.
The Yemeni armed forces spokesman stressed that the number of air raids carried out on Yemen since the beginning of the Saudi-led military campaign are amounted to be over 100 thousand, saying that the declaration of this statistic will be announced on the near future.
More than 1101 offensive attempts were foiled and more than other 83 attempted infiltrations on various fronts were addressed.

Armed forces spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, said that our forces carried out more than 689 offensive operations during the year 2018, and also shot down 42 combat aircraft and reconnaissance drone.
As for the operations of the air force unit, the operations amounted to 38 operations, 28 of which targeted the forces of the Saudi-led aggression and mercenaries inside Yemen, while the other 10 operations were conducted on facilities and military gatherings outside Yemen, specifically in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
The official military senior pointed out that one of the most important achievements accomplished by the Air Force was the revealing of the long-ranged combat UAV, “al-Samad-2”, as well as the “al-Samad-3” which were used in an operation that targeted Dubai International Airport on July 18, followed by another two operations on the same airport but on different dates.
The spokesman explained that there were several successful joint operations between the air force, artillery and rocket units, but did not give a specific number.
The operations of the missile force exceeded 100 operations with more than 131 ballistic missiles, launched in batches or single. 33 rockets fired at the forces, forces under the ranks of the coalition within the homeland, 98 rockets were directed on the Saudi-led forces and mercenaries in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Heading to the Yemeni unit concerned with mines and explosives, it succeeded in executing 1320 operations, which destroyed 1618 military mechanisms, most of which were carrying mercenaries.
As for sniping operations, the total number of sniping operations reached 7148 operations on different fronts. Coalition losses were by sniping reached 292 Saudi soldiers and officers on the fronts of Najran, Jizan, and Assir, in addition to 48 Sudanese mercenaries on various fronts. The number of local mercenaries who were killed by sniper bullets was 6633, including leaders.
The sniper unit also succeeded in damaging 14 vehicles, 10 operations against the coalition snipers, the targeting of 92 military vehicles, 9 of which resulted in the burning of these vehicles, and the destruction of 5 machineguns.
“For the fourth year, our forces are fighting different and multinational military formations, including tens of thousands of local and foreign mercenaries from several countries,” the spokesman emphasized.
He also stressed that the aggression supports al-Qaeda and ISIS and that the Saudi aggression sponsored secret intelligence operations to transport hundreds of elements of these groups from Syria through an Arab country, not named, the most recent was this week.

Brigadier Yahya Saree said that during 2018, there were a progressive development of missile systems and the revealing of new ones, pointing out that they still own various ballistic missile systems.
He explained that there is work being achieved to strengthen the missile capability with strategic stocks capable of changing the course of the battle in the future.

General Saree said that there are huge efforts made to neutralize the coalition warplanes from the Yemeni airspace, warning that Yemen in the next year will put lights on new missile systems if the Saudi-led aggression continues.
In addition, he added that dozens of military batches have graduated after intensive training.
The spokesman concluded by stating that if the Saudi-led aggression boasts of its military superiority and economy, in the support of America and the West in general, we are proud of the courage of our fighters and the justice of their cause.
