It is worthy to mention that the armed forces spokesman , Yahya Sare’e , declared that the guided air force carried out during 2018 , 38 operations , targeting the coalition ’s troops and paid fighters, including 28 operations targeted the coalition’s forces and paid fighters inside Yemen , and 10 operations targeted establishments and military gatherings outside Yemen, exactly in Saudi Kingdom and United Arab Emirates.

On the other hand, the Yemeni National Salvation Government said that attacks by the coalition forces left killed over 15,000 Yemenis in 2018  .

Saudis killed 15,395 Yemenis and injured 24,121 more in 2018, said Zeifollah Shami, according to a report by the Yemeni TV Channel ‘Al-Masirah’.The closure of Sana’a airport also resulted in the killing of 17,608 patients, he added.

In the wake of humanitarian disaster in Yemen, over 22,000 people are in urgent need of aids, he said.

This is while, 3,450,000 Yemenis have become internally and over 70,000 others externally displaced, he added.

In March 2015, the US -backed –Saudi-led coalition started  a war against Yemen with the declared aim of crushing the Houthi Ansarullah movement, who had taken over from the staunch Riyadh ally and fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, while also seeking to secure the Saudi border with its southern neighbor. Three years and over 600,000 dead and injured Yemeni people and  prevented the patients from travelling abroad for treatment and blocked the entry of medicine into the war-torn country, the war has yielded little to that effect.

Despite the coalition claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters, Saudi bombers are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures.

More than 2,200 others have died of cholera, and the crisis has triggered what the United Nations has described as the world’s worst humanitarian disaster.

However, Saudi Arabia relies heavily on the US in its brutal war on Yemen. Washington has deployed a commando force on the Arab kingdom’s border with Yemen to help destroy arms belonging to Yemen’s popular Houthi Ansarullah movement. Washington has also provided logistical support and aerial refueling.
