Officials Discuss How to Alleviate the Suffering of Children in Yemen

Minister of Human Rights Alia Faisal Abdullatif discussed with UNICEF representative to Yemen, Marcel Roliano, the joint cooperation to alleviate the suffering of children in Yemen.
The meeting discussed the common objectives that everyone intends to work on during the current period to alleviate the suffering of the childern in all areas of life and to realize their best interests.
The meeting also reviewed the situation of childhood in our country in light of the unjust aggression on our country and the unjust siege, and what UNICEF has done so, and what it should do in the future.
In the meeting, the Minister of Human Rights praised the efforts and achievements of UNICEF in concrete childhood in Yemen.
This war has made three-quarters of the population in need of humanitarian assistance and pushed the country to the brink of famine, while the United Nations has considered the crisis facing the Arab country as the worst in the world.
