Yemeni army forces killed and carried out many operations against the Saudi-led coalition, backed by the US,as it carried out deadly air raids against 15 targets, including a food factory, in Yemen’s west-central Sana’a Province, prompting condemnations from officials in the capital.

They, on Saturday, killed and injured a number of the paid fighters in encountering an infiltration, and the Engineering Unit destroyed a military truck with a bomb, killing and injuring who were in in al-Jawf province.

Their Supportive Artillery Unit also targeted gatherings of Saudi army in Almanarah watch post, in Najran. In Jizan, and they destroyed a Saudi military bulldozer.

Spokesman of the Armed Forces, Brigadier Yahya Sari, announced recently that “the Military Industrialization of the Army and Popular Committees has made qualitative leaps in drones manufacturing, and this year will be the year of drones.” This came during a press conference, where he reviewed operations of other incidents.

The Yemeni people are facing a major military escalation by the coalition, the head of the General Staff, Major General Mohammad Al-Ghamari, said, stressing that the military equation has changed and is no longer as it was.

The Chief of Staff pointed out in an interview with “26 September” newspaper, published in its issue, on Sunday, that the Yemeni people is in the face of barbaric aggression that does not abide any values, morals, religion or custom, stressing that the Yemeni army forces are present in the field and do their  duty as it should.

On the other hand, a number of citizens were killed and wounded Saturday night after raids by the coalition, which targeted various parts of the capital Sana’a.

According to our correspondent in Sana’a, the bombings targeted a Sponge factory. There two citizens were killed and a few others were injured. The bombing started a massive fire in the factory.

The airstrikes targeted 2 food factories in the Wadi-Ahmed area north of the capital, causing full destruction of the factory, a huge fire in the factory and damage to citizens ‘ homes in residential neighborhoods near the targeted factory.
The coalition launched four raids on the September-21 Park, and a series of raids on scattered areas in the capital.

Ansarullah Political Bureau Member, Ali Al-Quhoom, said that the coalition is responsible for Saturday’s escalation and intensive air bombing on Sana’a. The U.S has directed and prepared for these operations in Sana’a and other areas. He pointed in a tweet that “the Yemeni People, Armed Forces and Popular Committees will continue to defend land, man and identity.”

The head of Supreme Revolutionary Committee, Mohammad Ali Al-Houthi, said that the raids on Sana’a were the result of American support, participation and encouragement for its coalition, adding that the bombing of Sanaa is not new to aggression that violates international law.Al-Houthi stressed in a tweet on his Twitter account that the the coalition raids on Sana’a no longer scare the Yemeni people.

In March 2015, the US -backed –Saudi-led coalition started  a war against Yemen with the declared aim of crushing the Houthi Ansarullah movement, who had taken over from the staunch Riyadh ally and fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, while also seeking to secure the Saudi border with its southern neighbor. Three years and over 600,000 dead and injured Yemeni people and  prevented the patients from travelling abroad for treatment and blocked the entry of medicine into the war-torn country, the war has yielded little to that effect.

Despite the coalition claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters, Saudi bombers are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures.

More than 2,200 others have died of cholera, and the crisis has triggered what the United Nations has described as the world’s worst humanitarian disaster.

However, Saudi Arabia relies heavily on the US in its brutal war on Yemen. Washington has deployed a commando force on the Arab kingdom’s border with Yemen to help destroy arms belonging to Yemen’s popular Houthi Ansarullah movement. Washington has also provided logistical support and aerial refueling.
