Yemeni Ministry of Public Health and Population has condemned “the coalition’s continued disregard for Yemeni lives, ” in which the coalition begins its fifth year of war with “committing four war crimes targeting the gate of a hospital in Sa’adah that killed seven civilians, including four children, and wounding 7 others, most of them still in critical conditions.”

“Attacking civilian facilities is a war crime, not taking to account the lives of the two security guards is a second one, destroying health facilities, endangering the workers, and injuring patients are a third war crime, destroying an ambulance and wounding its driver is the fourth one,“ the ministry said in a statement.

“The coalition committed such an offence after four years of its aggression against Yemen, in a manner against all international and humanitarian laws, reflecting the barbarity and brutality of this aggression,“ the ministry added.

The statement stressed that the US-Saudi aggression “does not give the slightest consideration and attention to UN and international bodies and organizations, instead it continues to disregard Yemeni lives, since this crime comes in a series of heinous crimes committed in Kitaf district.”

The Ministry also denounced “the UN silence and blatant and flagrant disregard for these crimes committed by the Coalition in Yemen and with the cover of the US and British.”

At the end of the statement, the Ministry of Health called on “organisations and free people of the whole world at the official, trade union, party and popular level to move seriously to stop this aggression and lift the blockade on Yemen, and to bring the criminal leaders of Allied States to the International courts.”
