In a popular protest that took place in front of the United Nations Office in Sana’a, today after Friday prayers, the participants condemned the continued detention of four of oil vessels by the countries of the Saudi-led coalition.
The participants hold the US-backed coalition responsible for preventing the vessels from entering the port of Hodeidah.
The protesters stressed the continuation of the sit-in until the implementation of all their demands. They pointed out that the United Nations has to fulfill its duty and help release all the Oil vessels detained.
The UN should also do whatever needed to open the ports of Hodeidah and Ras Issa, as well as the opening of Sana’a International Airport.
The Oil Company has confirmed that none of the four detained oil vessels that have been announced to enter the port of Hodeidah has arrived so far.
