A local source stated that unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle shot at the leader of the Supreme Council of the Revolutionary Movement, Abdullah Hussein Al-Qahim, near his headquarters, Mansoura District, and then fled to an unknown destination.
Al-Qahim is one of the leaders of the Supreme Council of Revolutionary Movement, one of the entities of the Southern Movement, which began in 2007.
The Supreme Council of the Revolutionary Movement is one of the southern components opposed to the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council, where the Supreme Council announced its apology for attending the effectiveness of the southern dialogue organized by the Transitional last week.
The Supreme Council of the revolutionary movement had mourned one of his field commanders, Rami Mohammed Al-Musaabi, who was assassinated by unknown gunmen five days ago in Caltex tour of Al-Mansourah.
