Yemeni citizens protest against the coalition in southern Yemen

Assassinations, security disorder and conflicts have been ramped since United Arab Emirates forces took over Yemen’s southern provinces.
Hundreds of citizens in Yemen’s southern province of Abyan held on Thursday a mass march against Saudi-led coalition, according to local sources.
The demonstrators held Hadi’s authorities and the coalition the full responsibility in switching off electrical power and devastating serveries in the province, vowing to continue in escalation and the organizing protest rallies until carrying out their demands.
Al-Qaeda organization attacked a convoy of the so-called “security belt” paid fighters backed by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in al-Mahfad city of the province.
An improvised explosive device planted by al-Qaeda went off in a car of the paid fighter while was passing in one of the roads in the city, which resulted in several dead and wounded from the militia members,the dead and wounded were taken to Laudar Hospital in the city.
The paid fighter of al-Qaeda planted an explosive device in al-Mahfad city, targeting a military pick-up vehicle belonging to UAE-backed paid fighters and several of them were killed and wounded.
The city of al-Mahfad in the province has reportedly fallen to the al-Qaeda terrorist organization, without any resistance from the UAE forces’s so-called Security Belt forces, only three days after the terrorist organization deployed its fighters in the city.
According to the reporter, the commander of the UAE-backed paid fighters, Mounir Yafia’ae, and the commander of the occupation’s First Support Brigade, survived an assassination operation in Mahfad city, as three of his escorts were injured in an armed attack.
A local source has reported that two Yemeni citizens were brutally tortured in the prison of Hasn Eatia, located in the Khanfar district of the province.
Sheikh Saleh al-Khazami has said that a paid fighter commander in the so-called Security Belt paid fighters force, which is loyal to the UAE forces, kidnapped 2 citizens, Omar Kassem and Mohsen Ahmed Ayadi.
“The two were brutally tortured based on unproven charges,” he added. Al-Khazami noted that the detainees were subjected to humanitarian violations and crimes.
Dozens of Saudi-led coalition-backed paid fighters were killed and wounded in an attack waged by unknown gunmen in the province.
The attack targeted the paid fighters of so-called “security belt”in a security checkpoint in Modaih area.
The southern provinces has seen assassinations, security disorder and devastated public services since United Arab Emirates forces took over the south in 2016.
In March 2015, the US -backed –Saudi-led coalition started a war against Yemen with the declared aim of crushing the Houthi Ansarullah movement, who had taken over from the staunch Riyadh ally and fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, while also seeking to secure the Saudi border with its southern neighbor. Three years and over 600,000 dead and injured Yemeni people and prevented the patients from travelling abroad for treatment and blocked the entry of medicine into the war-torn country, the war has yielded little to that effect.
Despite the coalition claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters, Saudi bombers are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures.
More than 2,200 others have died of cholera, and the crisis has triggered what the United Nations has described as the world’s worst humanitarian disaster.
