The British Middle East site published an article saying that Britain is pretending to be ignorant of the bombing of civilians by the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen.
The writer says it is important for everyone to realize that the United States and the United Kingdom are primarily involved in the conflict, as the main arms suppliers to the alliance. The British government has adopted a set of key strategies to try to manage the dispute over the arms sales policy, the author said in an article published on the Middle East Internet site.
It refers to the consequences of the war waged by the Saudi-led coalition against Yemen, including civilians, and the responsibility of the coalition.
It affirms that Yemen’s population suffers from famine and cholera due to the economic siege, attacks on health care facilities and the destruction of infrastructure. Yemen’s cultural heritage is also under direct attack, along with schools, wedding halls, funerals and other events that form the fabric of social life.
