Spokesman of the Armed Forces, Brigadier Yahya Sari, said that the continued operations of the Air Force, which target King Khalid Air Base in the south-west of Saudi Arabia near Khamis Mushait in Aseer, led to the complete paralyzation of the airbase. The base was targeted during the past few days, Tuesday morning being the most recent.
Brigadier Sari said that the drones attack targeted the radars, weapons storage and sensitive military sites. He pointed out that the air base is important for the aggression’s operations against Yemen. The drones attack caused great confusion among the enemy and resulted in disruption in the air base operation. All US and other defense, intercepting, systems deployed in Saudi Arabia to combat attacks from Yemen has failed.
The spokesman explained that the Saudi-led coalition was forced to transfer control rooms to other military bases, which make these new sites within the list of targeting by the Yemeni Armed Forces. “No place, which is used to launch attacks against our Yemeni people is safe, our targeting will reach you,” he threatened.
“These sites are monitored and have become important targets that will be reached by the Yemeni aerial forces and will not be safe as long as the aggression and siege continue on our great Yemeni people,” he concluded.
