The number of Yemenis in need of humanitarian assistance has reached 24.1 million, as the Saudi-led war and the UAE have continued since March 2015, according to a recent UN report.
The UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) said in a report that malnutrition continues to have a significant impact on the well-being of millions of Yemenis.
According to the report, malnutrition continues to be a factor that affects the lives of Yemenis, especially children.
The report revealed that 3.56 million Yemenis have been displaced since the beginning of the war led by Saudi Arabia and the UAE, more than four years ago, and the number of people in need of humanitarian assistance exceeds 24 million.
UNHCR explained that it had carried out activities for internally displaced persons, returnees and members of the host community of displaced persons throughout Yemen, including the construction of 23 multi-purpose shelter seating buildings for displaced persons to Amran province north of Sana’a.
