French Documentary Reveals Human Cost of War against Yemen

A documentary film published by a French website revealed the absence of ingredient for life in Yemen besides the terrible human cost of war waged by the coalition against Yemen since 2015.

The documentary confirmed the prevalence of severe food deficit among Yemenis by 80% and cholera outbreaks due to severe shortage of drinking water supplies.

The documentary discussed the consequences of the war waged by the Saudi-led coalition on the lives of Yemenis and the high cost to their health and lives in general.

It included video footage of cases of Yemenis who lost sight and limbs. It also highlighted the dire conditions in camps for displaced people fleeing war zones, who lost all their possessions and were forced to live in rudimentary and unbearable conditions in small tents free of furniture, electricity and other necessary life basics.

The documentary noted that the most affected of the three million IDPs in Yemen are children, most of whom do not go to school.
