Yemeni Petroleum Company warned on Thursday that all vital sector services which provide basic services to citizens will be ceased completely over the next few days due to the lack of sufficient petroleum products to cover their needs.
In a statement, the company said, “The petroleum company has already sounded the alarm and repeatedly warned during the last period that the continued detention of oil derivatives ships and preventing their entry to Hodeidah port by the coalition of aggression will stop the activity of all vital sectors related to the citizens’ lives. ”
“Yemenis are on the threshold of a humanitarian catastrophe as a result of the inability of the oil company to provide petroleum materials, especially diesel, to the most vital sectors to cover their needs.”
The company held the United Nations, the international community and all humanitarian organizations fully responsible for all the catastrophic effects of the detention of oil, food and medicine ships and preventing their entry to Hodeidah port, which will result in complete paralysis to all different life facilities.
