Head of the Committee for War Prisoners Affairs, Abdul Qader Al-Murtada, said that the blood of the 3 war prisoners who were tortured in the prisons of Saudi mercenaries in Marib will not go to waste.

“We have filed a memorandum of protest to the International Red Cross and the office of the international envoy regarding the killing of prisoners under torture and we are surprised by their silence about it,” he said.

Al-Murtada expressed his condolences to the families of the martyrs. The National Prisoners Committee announced in a statement yesterday the martyrdom of 3 war prisoners affiliated with the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees due to torture in the prisons of Saudi/UAE mercenaries in Marib.

The National War Prisoners Committee condemned the heinous crime against prisoners and the repetition of these crimes indicates that they are directed by the highest leaders in the countries of the Saudi-led coalition.

The National Prisoners Committee held the Saudi-led coalition full legal and moral responsibility for criminal crimes against prisoners, confirming that the suspicious silence of the United Nations towards these crimes against prisoners encouraged criminals to keep the violence and torture ongoing.
