Finance Ministry: Saudi-Led Coalition Uses Economic War to Achieve Victory after Military Failure

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, Dr. Ahmed Hajar, said that the forces of the Saudi-led coalition have been using economic war in its aggression and siege to achieve victory in Yemen following recognized military failure. 

He stressed that the suspension of employee salaries is part of the pressuring process schemed for by the Saudi-led coalition on local authorities, pointing out that oil revenues are added to other revenues looted by the coalition countries including customs duties and external donations to the Central Bank.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance also noted that international organizations and countries of the Saudi-led coalition have full knowledge that all the economic instruments they have been using are illegal.
