Member of Supreme Council: Al-Ja’ar Area in Shabwa Base of Al-Qaeda and ISIS Individuals

A member of the Supreme Political Council, Ahmad Al-Rahwi, stated on Sunday that Al-Ja’ar area and some areas in Shabwa are focal points of al-Qaeda and ISIS individuals.

He told Almasirah TV that the mobilization of foreign Takfiris is not new to southern Yemen, adding that the Saudi-led coalition has always utilized these groups as tools in its wars against Yemen.

“Arriving of military reinforcements to Abyan intended to expand the influence of Saudi Arabia and open a new front for Mkairas” he added.

He noted that the UAE is present with its arms and intelligence in the southern cities that work for their own agendas.
