The Saudi American aggression against Yemen acknowledged on Monday that “mistakes” occurred in a raid carried out by its fighter jet on a market in Saada last December, which led to the death of at least 17 civilians.
The aggression admitted the aforementioned in a statement, published by the Saudi News Agency, regarding accusations of targeting “Al-Raqou” market, in the district of Monbh, Saada governorate.
The aggression has also been accused of targeting fishing boats near the island of Zaqr, off the coast of Hodeidah and bombing a house in “Mahdidiya” area in Baqim border district, Saada governorate.
The Saudi American aggression had created a team, under international pressure, to investigate independently the actions of its elements in the 5-year war against Yemen, or so it claims.
Ever since the aggression against Yemen in March 2015, human rights organizations have condemned the Riyadh-led aggression killing hundreds of civilians in raids that hit civilian targets in the impoverished country.
On August 21, Human Rights Watch reported that the Saudi American aggression attacked two fishing boats near the island of Zaqer, off the coast of Hodeidah.
