President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, on Saturday discussed with Transport Minister, Amer Al-Marrani, the repercussions of the continued aggression and siege on the performance of transport sectors.
The meeting touched on the humanitarian repercussions resulting from the continued closure of Sana’a International Airport by the US-Saudi-led aggression coalition and preventing patients from traveling abroad for treatment, which led to the death of tens of thousands of them.
The difficulties facing the transportation sectors as a result of the detention of oil derivatives ships by the aggression coalition were also discussed. In the meeting, President Al-Mashat praised the successes achieved by the Transport Ministry and its affiliated bodies. He stressed the importance of redoubling efforts to develop the various fields of transport to meet the needs of citizens and alleviate their suffering.
