A civilian was killed on Sunday in Hodeida province in the explosion of a landmine left behind by the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression.

The Executive Center for Mine Action said in a statement that a citizen was killed in the village of al-Nasiri in Tuhaita district hours after the martyrdom of a civilian in al-Faza area in the same district.

The center pointed out that the number of victims as a result of the explosion of the remnants of the aggression from mines and cluster bombs in Hodeida has risen to 260 civilians since the beginning of this year only.

The center pointed out that the daily fall of civilians in Hodeida confirms the seriousness of the catastrophic situation that Hodeida is going through as a result of the widespread of the remnants of the aggression.

It renewed its call for humanitarian partners to introduce detectors to cleanse the remnants of war.
