Syrian air defenses confront Zionist missile aggression on Damascus International Airport
The Syrian air defenses responded to an Israeli missile aggression that targeted Damascus International Airport and points in Damascus countryside, causing the airport to be put out of service, state-run SANA news agency reported, citing a military source.
“At approximately 4:50 on Sunday afternoon, the Zionist enemy carried out an air aggression with missiles from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting Damascus International Airport and some points in Damascus countryside,” the military source said the statement.
The source pointed out that the air defense forces responded to the enemy missiles and destroyed most of them.”
He added that the aggression caused Damascus International Airport to be out of service and some material losses.
