Yemeni Armed Forces Strike Vessel in Red Sea Amid Regional Escalation

2

In a significant escalation of regional tensions, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced the successful targeting of the vessel *Anadolu S* in the Red Sea using a combination of ballistic and naval missiles. The operation, carried out in support of the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance, was described as a direct and precise hit, according to military spokesman General Yahya Sare’e.

General Sare’e stated that the ship was targeted after failing to heed warnings issued by Yemeni naval forces. He further accused the vessel’s owning company of violating a declared ban on entering ports associated with the Israeli occupation.

The Yemeni Armed Forces reiterated their commitment to enforcing a naval blockade against Israel, vowing to target any ships connected to or operating in support of the Zionist regime. They also confirmed their ongoing use of missiles and drones to strike Israeli targets, emphasizing that their operations will persist until the aggression on Gaza and Lebanon ceases and the siege on the Gaza Strip is lifted.

This action reflects the broader regional solidarity with Palestinian and Lebanese populations amid Israel’s ongoing military campaigns, which have provoked widespread condemnation and retaliation across the Middle East.
