Hezbollah Strikes Key Israeli Military Bases in Unprecedented Operations
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon—Hezbollah—conducted a series of coordinated and sophisticated attacks on Sunday, targeting strategic Israeli military installations in Tel Aviv, Glilot, and Asdod. These operations involved advanced missiles and precision drones, marking a significant escalation in the ongoing conflict.
According to Hezbollah’s military media, the first operation commenced at 6:30 AM local time, targeting a military facility in Tel Aviv with a combination of missiles and drones. The attack reportedly achieved its objectives, described as a direct response to Israeli strikes on Beirut and ongoing civilian casualties in Gaza.
At 1:00 PM, Hezbollah launched another assault on the Glilot base near Tel Aviv, a critical hub for Israel’s military intelligence Unit 8200. The precision missile strike hit the facility, located 110 kilometers from the Blue Line.
Earlier that morning, at 9:00 AM, the Resistance carried out its first-ever drone strike on the Asdod naval base, situated 150 kilometers from the border. The drones successfully hit their targets, further intensifying the group’s military campaign.
Hezbollah also confirmed a previous operation two days earlier targeting the Blumachim base, a vital Israeli Air Force installation housing advanced UAVs, helicopters, and missile defense systems.
These operations are part of Hezbollah’s “Khaybar” campaign, launched on October 1, 2024, under the slogan “Labbayka ya Nasrallah” (“At your service, O’ Nasrallah”). The campaign focuses on striking deep into Israeli territory, up to 150 kilometers from the border, in support of Palestinian resistance in Gaza and in defense of Lebanon.
