20 dead in Explosion at Mosque in Afghanistan’s Herat

An explosion struck the entrance to a mosque in Afghanistan’s main western city of Herat late Tuesday, claiming at least 20 martyrs, according to media reports.

“There has been an explosion at the gate of Jawadya mosque in Herat city, possible caused by a car bomb,” interior ministry spokesman Najib Danish told AFP.
