The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and their allies resumed their offensive in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, Wednesday, targeting Daesh’s (ISIS) last positions at the strategic T-2 Pumping Station.
Supported by Liwaa Fatemiyoun (Iranian-Afghani paramilitary) and Hezbollah, the Syrian Arab Army stormed the Al-Artiwaziyah region that is located directly south of the T-2 Pumping Station.
Not long after launching the attack, the Syrian Arab Army was capable of imposing full control over the Al-Artiwaziyah area, forcing the remaining ISIS terrorists to retreat to the T-2 Station in order to strengthen the defenses around the base.
As a result of this progress, the Syrian Arab Army and their allies have managed to surround the T-2 Pumping Station from three different flanks, leaving only one route to escape for the ISIS terrorists.
