A car bomb exploded in the border city region under the control of rebels, Azaz, in northern Aleppo. According to preliminary reports, three people have been killed and at least a dozen more injured.
No group has taken responsibility for the bombing until now.
Azaz has been suffering tens of car bombs over the past year, indicating a power struggle between rival insurgent factions that have made checkpoints across the city.
Not so long ago, the Turkish Armed Forces said that they would disband militant groups from Azaz and set up a military police force to prevent future car bombs in the border city.
