Map update: Syrian Army bursts open door to Khan Sheikhoun following liberation of Khuwayn

With the liberation of the town of Khuwayn just moments ago, forces of the Syrian Arab Army have de facto opened the way for a direct assault on the terrorist stronghold of Khan Sheikoun, located on the border between Hama and Idlib provinces.
Khan Sheikhoun represents a militant fortress just like a number of other large rebel-held towns to its south, namely Morek, Al-Latamenah and Kafr Zita. At the present time, the dominant armed group inside the settlement is the Al-Qaeda-linked Ha’yat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly called Jabhat al-Nusra and Jabhat Fateh al-Sham) terrorist group.
Despite just being a large town, Khan Sheikhoun also has infrastructural strategic value to it as it commands all the major roads the lead into the heart of Idlib province from the southeast.
Should forces of the Syrian Arab Army strike at Khan Sheikhoun via Khuwayn, then to this effect only the town of At-Tamanah stands in the way of them reaching the gates of the terrorist stronghold.
