Yemen is a human-made disaster…and the west fingerprints are all over it

Britain and America are concealed behind Yemen war. Rather than condemning this dirty war, the United States and Britain stands fully behind its allies (Saudi Arabia and UAE), one of the world’s most repugnant regimes.

The British Foreign Office held a meeting about Yemen, with the participation of the Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, U.K. U.S. and Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, United Nations Special Envoy for Yemen will take part in the meeting. It is funny that Yemenis did not attend this meeting. Where most of those present have their hands stained with Yemenis blood.

As press reports indicate that Britain is not looking for peaceful solutions in Yemen that serve the people, but they are looking for solutions to get their allies out of the Yemeni quagmire.

London and Washington offer full support to Saudi Arabia and the UAE in the negotiations, as well as securing the political cover of the Kingdom in the Security Council.

Britain government has fuelled this conflict through reckless arms sales for UAE which break the international humanitarian law. It has sold to the UAE dictatorship nearly $ 4.6 billion worth of arms. Crucially, since the Saudis began their bombing campaign, Britain has signed off many arms licences.

Yemen needs the peace, Its people need humanitarian assistance, not more bombs. But Britain is helping to escalate this war, aiding a cruel regime that it knows is bombing civilians. This is criminal. And the British government must be held responsible for it.
