Presence of Saudi-led coalition is unacceptable: Yemeni official

In response to the Saudi-led coalition’s fatal air strikes that claimed the lives of about 14,000 people,mostly civilians , the Yemeni joint forces launched an offensive against Saudi army and its paid fighters in the battle front lines over the last 24 hours, killing and injuring dozens, a military official told “YemenExtra” on Sunday.

In Jizan border province, the artillery of the Yemeni joint forces aimed at groups of Saudi soldiers and destroyed a tank of the paid fighters , killing and wounding several of them in Qamar village, al-Ramdhah and al-Qaran sites.

In Najran, the Yemeni joint forces launched an artillery shelling on gatherings of the paid fighters in eastern al-Ashjer sites.

In Taiz province, tens of the paid fighters were killed and injured as the Yemeni joint forces waged a military operation on their sites in western coast.

Also in Taiz, the Yemeni joint forces foiled an attempt of infiltration of the paid fighters and killed and wounded dozens in Osifarh area.

Separately, in Medi desert in north of Hajjah province, Saudi-led coalition’s groups were targeted by the artillery shelling of the Yemeni joint forces.

Meanwhile, the Yemeni joint forces repelled an attack of the paid fighters toward al-Qabaitah area, killing and injuring dozens.

In Marib province, the sniper unit of the Yemeni joint forces shot dead eight paid fighters in various areas of Serwah district.
