Scores of students took to streets in a protest rally, which is considered to be the 12th of its kind, in front of the United Nations headquarters in Sana’a demanding an end to the Saudi-led war on Yemen and the targeting of children with death and a strangling siege.
The children expressed their condemnation of the international silence regarding hundreds of US-backed Saudi crimes against civilians in Yemen, which claimed the lives of children and women, and targeted schools and medical facilities.
The children raised banners that asserted that humanity, with all its principles, was left assassinated and bleeding in Yemen, while the rest of the world turns a blind eye.
The statement of the protest called on the United Nations and the world to take immediate action and cease the crimes against the Yemeni children, as well as to lift the siege on the Yemeni people.
