The Saudi Crown Prince’s official visit comes amid a wave of public discontent and protest over the aggressive policies of the Saudi government toward Arab states such as Yemen, Syria, Lebanon, Bahrain and Qatar.

Britain provides Riyadh with logistical, technical and political support in its unjust war against the peaceful Muslim people of Yemen. However, British arms sales to Saudi Arabia increased by 500%.

Many British newspapers have called on the British Prime Minister Theresa May not to abandon what she called “British values” during the visit of the Saudi crown prince to London. British activists have criticized their successive governments for British military and political cooperation with the Saudi dictatorship and the suppression of freedoms.

Political observers say the May government is trying to put aside British laws to secure a $ 100 billion stake in Saudi Oil Company Aramco.

Despite the tremendous crimes of the Saudi forces against the Yemenis, London is moving ahead with supplying the Saudi family with weapons and information in the war Saudi Arabia is waging against Yemen, where Britain is selling arms to the kingdom worth 200 million pounds a month.

The English political scene described Salman’s latest crackdown on corruption in which a number of Saudi princes and businessmen were arrested as repressive, however, it was nothing but him chasing his political opponents from the royal family.

For this reason, several NGOs have sent an open letter to May asking her to cancel Ben Salman’s visit because of his criminal role in the unjust war against neighboring impoverished Yemen and human rights violations in Saudi Arabia.
