Yemenis have been organizing various demonstrations in different Yemeni governorates against the ongoing war led by the Saudi Kingdom. They protest its war crimes as confirmed by the LCRD, Legal Center for Rights and Development, which are documented in pictures, lists and videos.
A large number of them are also directly affected by the Saudi airstrikes, where they had lost the lives of loved ones whether its on the battlefield or right in their homes. The Saudi-led coalition has been confirmed by humanitarian organizations to target civilian property, resulting in more than a 30000 killed and injured Yemeni citizens.
To express their steadfastness, people and dignitaries of Al-Rawda and Busstan Hassan neighborhoods in Rada’a district, Baidha governorate, demonstrated today to affirm their steadfastness confronting the Saudi-led war, which has been going for two years and now is entering the third.
Demonstrates also confirmed their preparation to supply the battlefronts in support of the Yemeni joint military, as well as putting efforts into keeping the internal situation safe and stable in the Yemeni territory.
In the same context, the Yemeni tribes of “Methaq” in Al-Hada’a district, Dhamar governorate, protested on Sunday denouncing the continuous war crimes committed by the Saudi-led coalition as well as the air, sea and land siege on Yemen. The imposed blockade has caused one of the worst humanitarian disasters as reported by Yemeni Almasirah channel with 80% of Yemen’s markets are filled from imports.
The Methaq tribes expressed their sorrow as the coalition continues to commit war crimes amid an international silence, including the UN and the international community.
Despite the struggle, they demonstrated to prove their resilience against the ongoing war and their readiness to supply the battlefronts in multiple Yemeni governorates.
The coalition waged its war on March 25, 2015 with the aim of restoring a Saudi-backed ousted president, Hadi, and force Yemeni revolutionaries to back down. However, daily protests indicate that with each day passing by, a lager number of Yemenis will be ready to confront the Saudi forces, refusing to give up their will.
