UAE arrests dozens of fishermen and prevent them from fishing

On Monday, the UAE forces arrested dozens of Yemeni fishermen on the coasts of Al-Mukha, west of Taiz province.
According to local sources, five military boats of the UAE forces in the port of Mukha raided dozens of fishermen, on Monday morning,who were preparing to do their work. The sources revealed that the number of boats that have been pursued and then detained until noon today were about 30 boats with dozens of fishermen.
The sources confirmed that the UAE forces fired at the boats that were detainee after taking from the fishermen pledges not to hunt in the coast of the Mukha.
The sources pointed out that «hundreds of fishermen in Mukha and Khokhah in Bab al-Mandab and Dobab were living economic and humanitarian conditions difficult because of the practices by the UAE forces towards them, whereas it prevent them from fishing in the West Coast, which extends from Dobab to the city of al-Khokha».
