Hundreds of people from the Yemeni Socotra archipelago have marched in an angry march ,denouncing the UAE forces and demanding the UAE to leave the island, media sources said Monday.

According to the sources, the march roamed a number of main streets in Socotra archipelago, whereas participants rose flags of the Republic of Yemen, chanted slogans angrily, condemned the practices of the UAE forces ,and demanded the speedy exit from the island.

The march is the first of its kind since the takeover of the Yemeni archipelago of Socotra by the UAE forces, which was considered by political analysts as a first step to form a major revolt in the island of Socotra in particular and in the south in general against the British colonizer.
