Thousands of Yemenis Continue Demonstrating for Martyred President al-Sammad

The city of Ibb witnessed on Friday a mass rally in loyalty to the martyr President Saleh al-Sammad under the title “The March of Guns.”

During the mass rally, the Governor of the province Salah expressed the deepest condolences of the people of Yemen on the martyrdom of President Saleh Al-Sammad. He pointed out that Yemen has lost one of its loyal men who have an insight into the Yemeni people by recently launching his national project,  “A hand protects and the other builds”… stressing that the martyrdom of the president will only boost the rigidness, resilience and steadfastness of the Yemeni people.

He reiterated the support of the local authority and its decision of appointing Mehdi al-Mashat as the head of the Supreme Political Council for he has the confidence to lead the country and realizes the aspirations of the Yemeni people.

He also called on all the residents of Ibb to participate in the solemn funeral of the martyr President tomorrow Saturday morning.

For his part, Undersecretary of the province Abdul Hamid Al-Shaheri affirmed that the targeting of Yemenis and their top figures is a crime that will never be forgotten nor forgiven.

The statement pointed out that the crime against President al-Sammad will continue to stain with disgrace the face of humanity .. He stressed that these crimes will strengthen the steadfastness of the Yemenis and their insistence on confronting the Saudi-led war as well as thwarting its conspiracies.
