Cyclone “Segear” approaching Aden

The Yemeni Meteorological Center warned of the movement of tropical cyclone “Sagar” towards the west and south-west of the coast of Yemen at speeds of 79 km per hour, within the next six hours.

The center said in a statement that the cyclone “Sagar” will move the next six hours accompanied by heavy clouds and moderate to heavy rain accompanied by wind speed between 38 43 knots (70-79 km) on the archipelago Socotra ,AL-Maharah ,Hadramout and Shabwa ,Abyan And Aden.

Local authorities in the provinces of Aden and Hadhramout have announced an alert for a tropical cyclone expected to hit the western and southwestern coasts of Yemen for the coming hours.
