Nephew of Yemeni former president Tariq Afash to be discharged by Riyadh, Abu Dhabi

”Secret arrangements are going on in Riyadh to receive a number of leaders loyal to the nephew of slain former president Tariq Afash,” Yemeni sources in Riyadh reported.

According to the sources, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates are attempting to attract these leaders in order to form new forces affiliated with Riyadh and Abu Dhabi directly.

The upcoming meeting, which will bring together these leaders with Saudi princes, will be followed by the dismissal of a number of military leaders, including Tariq Afash, the source stated.

The emirs of Riyadh and Abu Dhabi had used the same tactic and pushed several top leaders of Islah party “Yemen’s Brotherhood” to conduct a coup against the government in Sana’a and Ansarullah.
