Yemeni, international media reveals the coalition’s misleading news about the west coast battle

Yemeni and international media keep giving evidence to reveal the false claims of the US-Saudi-led coalition of its acheivements in the west coast battle.

The coalition forces claim to have entered the main compound of the airport in the western Yemeni city of Hodeidah as they press ahead with a military offensive to capture the flashpoint port city in defiance of international warnings.

Almasirah channel , on july 8the, visited Al-Tuhaita city center, which the US-Saudi led coalition claims to control. This visit comes to defeat all misinformation and propaganda published by the media of the coalition.

Almasirah showed the normal life lived by people in the markets, roads and their activities in the central market of the city. Despite the great escalation launched by the coalition more than ten days ago, the city seems to go about its normal life.

The citizens and army expressed their steadfastness and their response to the forces of coalition, despite their escalation.

On June 25 ,The Yemeni army media documented scenes of a military offensive carried out by the Yemeni army on the positions of the US-Saudi-led coalition in Hodeidah province.The military assault took place at Aljah district on the west coast area, resulting in cleansing and securing the rest of the areas in the district.

Notably, sources close to the former Yemeni president said the troops stormed the airport on Tuesday following fierce battles with fighters of Yemen’s Houthi Ansarullah movement, which has been both running state affairs and defending the country in the face of the deadly Saudi-led military campaign.

The UAE state news agency WAM tweeted later in the day that militants, backed by the Emirati military, have entered the airport.

Rueters , in addition, denied the coalition’s claim that its troopers controlled Al-Hodeidah Al-Yemeni airpor, confirming that the coalitiont has failed to achieve the goals of its biggest battles in Yemen, which was the Battle of the West Coast.

The coalition said on June 20 that it had taken over Hodeidah airport, but local army and relief groups told Reuters there was no full control of the airport and the surrounding area, which spans 20 kilometers to either side.

The agency quoted the head of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee Mohammad Ali al-Houthi as saying: The coalition did not control the airport at all.

A pro-coalition Yemeni army source, loyal to the coalition, said the Houthis control the northern suburbs of the area as coalition-backed forces try to maintain their positions on the southern outskirts.

A senior relief official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said coalition forces initially penetrated the perimeter of the airport “but it lasted only less than 24 hours and then they were taken out of there”.

The Leader of the Yemeni Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, on Saturday said Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates are seeking to pave the way for Zionism to completely control the Red Sea.

In a statement, the leader said both Gulf states, which led a US-backed military coalition, are using the United Nations and its UN envoy as an umbrella to seize control the port city of Hodeidah through baseless justifications.

Yemen’s Houthi Ansarullah movement says Saudi Arabia, which has been leading a deadly war on the impoverished country for the past three years, is giving huge bribes to foreign firms in an attempt to shut down anti-Saudi Yemeni media.

Hodeidah and its environs are among the most severely harmed by the blockade and the threat of famine, the civilians living there are also at risk of being bombed for no reason. There is no excuse for bombing this house and killing these civilians. This attack is a gross violation of international law and a war crime, and the governments responsible for it should be held accountable. This is what the coalition does with the refueling and weapons that the U.S. provides them. Refueling coalition planes just makes it easier for them to carry out more outrageous attacks like this one.

Backed by Saudi-led airstrikes, Emirati forces and militants loyal to the former Yemeni government launched the Hudaydah assault on June 13 despite warnings that it would compound the impoverished nation’s humanitarian crisis.

Malaysia said on Thursday it was pulling its troops out of the Saudi-led military coalition that has been bombing Yemen over the past three years.

Despite the coalition’s claim that it wants to control Hodeidh port to allow the entry of Humantrian aid to Yemen, the Yemeni government, loyal to the US-Saudi-led coalition, has been suffering for nearly a year in a crisis to pay the salaries of 67,000 employees.

Even if the UK warned against attacking the vital port of Hodeidah, we bear responsibility for the horrors of this war, according to a report issued by the Guardian on June 17.
