President al-Mashat’s Term Extended by Yemen’s SPC

The Supreme Political Council (SPC) on Wednesday approved to extend the term of the President Mahdi al-Mashat for a new session, which will start on August 24, according to the council’s internal regulations.

This took place in a meeting chaired by the president al-Mashat.

During this meeting, members of the SPC confirmed their support for the president due to his successful performance in carrying out national duties.
