Yemeni Army Forces Unveil New High-Precision Badr P-1 Ballistic Missile: Updated

Yemeni army forces unveiled a domestically- designed and -manufactured smart missile intended to precisely hit specific targets, minimize collateral damage and increase lethality against designated targets, as the Saudi-led coalition, backed by the US, heads with its fatal aerial bombardment campaign against its southern neighbor.
Earlier in the day, they struck the al-Mostahaddeth base in Yemen’s western coastal province of Hudaydah , using the same ballistic missile, leaving a large of the coalition’s Sudanese troopers dead and wounded there.
The Rocketry Force said in a statement that the short-range ballistic missile, Bader 1P has 3m target range accuracy, developed from Bader 1, and works with solid fuel.It read that Yemen 2018, has a precision missile capabilities, pointing out that it will soon reveal other systems. It pointed out that it would not have reached what it had without the popular support that is based on it to achieve the guidance of the revolutionary leadership, which promised that the fourth year will be a ballistic year, noting that what they declare comes to fulfill this promise.
The statement indicated that the Saudi-led coalition, backed by the US, persistence in targeting civilians and state leaders, including the assissanated President Saleh Al-Samad,who warned the coalition of a ballastic year unless it stops, represented an exceptional incentive to move forward in the field of ballistic missile manufacturing as an indispensable force for any country seeking sovereignty and aspiring to complete independence.
It also called on the coalition to refine its statistical counter to the previous missiles, and to realize that they are in front of a ballistic Yemen will not be prevented of possessing defensive power any obstacle.
On December 3, 2017, “The missile force announces the launching of a winged cruise missile … towards the al-Barakah nuclear reactor in Abu Dhabi,” the Houthis’ al-Masirah news website reported on Sunday.
On November 5,2017, the Yemeni army forces confirmed that it targeted Saudi Arabia’s King Khalid international airport in Riyadh with a long distance Borkan H2 ballistic missile.
Saudi Arabia has also confirmed the launch, saying that Saudi Arabia’s air defense intercepted the missile, bringing it down to the north of the airport.
“Shattered fragments from the intercepted missile landed in an uninhabited area of the airport and there were no injuries,” said a spokesman for the Saudi-led coalition waging war against Yemen.
Yemeni media reported that the cruise missile had successfully hit the Barakah nuclear reactor in Abu Dhabi.
It should be noted that the military developments with alocal capacity during the coalition campaign and siege.The local Yemeni missiles changed the course of military battles on different fronts and contributed to the heavy losses sustained by the coalition whereas, the Yemeni army forces directed pre-emptive strikes on coalition forces ,thwarting large military plans.
New Yemeni-made ballistic missile ‘Badr1-P’
A spokesman for the Yemeni army forces Brigadier Yahya Sari on Sunday reviewed in a briefing the experiences of the missile force before the unveiling of the Badr-1 P missile, as well as military operations during the past week.
He pointed out that the coalition raids on the province of Hudayda during the past week led to the occurrence of at least 50 as dead and wounded .most of the victims were killed in the crime committed by the coalition airstrike in the vegetable market in the Directorate of Beit Faqih.
He added that the smart missile Badr 1 p is one of the boast of the Yemeni military industry with quality specifications and ability to hit the target accurately . He also said that the process of manufacturing and developming came with 100 percent Yemeni expertise
The spokesman for Ansar Allah movement “Mohamed Abdel Salam” on Sunday praised the launch of the stage of smart missiles and the production of the first missilewhich works with the technique under the name of Badr (1-P)
He also stressed that the missile force proved in practice that the Yemeni man has a solid will and has an innovative mindset and creative solutions to overcome all the challenges.
In March 2015, the US -backed –Saudi-led coalition started a war against Yemen with the declared aim of crushing the Houthi Ansarullah movement, who had taken over from the staunch Riyadh ally and fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, while also seeking to secure the Saudi border with its southern neighbor. Three years and over 60,000 dead and injured Yemeni people and prevented the patients from travelling abroad for treatment and blocked the entry of medicine into the war-torn country, the war has yielded little to that effect.
The US-Saudi-led coalition launched an offensive on Hudaydah on 12 June in the largest battle of the war that the United Nations fears risks triggering a famine in Yemen where an estimated 8.4 million people are on the verge of starvation. Recently, It has been paused for peace talks, but no deal has been struck leaving Yemenis pessimistic over a viable political process.
Abdulmalik al-Houthi, the leader of the Houthi(Ansarallah) movement, which is the main force that faces the coallition, said on a TV speech ,” The decision of invading the Yemeni ,western coast, has been taken and adopted by the United States of America,noting that the Saudis are trying to abolish Yemen’s freedom,” stressing that it was the people of Yemen’s right to defend their country.
The Bab el-Mandab Strait, which is the southern entrance to the Red Sea, is one of the world’s key shipping lanes for crude oil and allows crude exports into the European market.
The United Nations said more than 350,000 people have been displaced from the strategic Red Sea port town of Hudaydah in western Yemen since June.Deputy spokesman for the Secretary-General, Farhan Haq, said during a press conference on Monday that violent clashes have erupted in the city over the past few days, especially in the Ad Durayhimi district.He added that emergency humanitarian assistance has already been provided to more than 90 per cent of those displaced.
A UN panel compiled a detailed report of civilian casualties caused by the Saudi military and its allies during their war against Yemen, saying the Riyadh-led coalition has used precision-guided munitions in its raids on civilian targets.
